Say hello

I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work on the Australian lands of First Nations Peoples, who are the custodians of land, waters and skies. I learn openly with gratitude from the wisdom and knowledge of First Nations and Indigenous Peoples and acknowledge my ancestral part in colonisation and persecution of First Peoples and work to restore equilibrium and respect.

The Southern Tablelands of NSW Australia is a beautiful and complex area for Indigenous people, home to many clans, including people of the Ngunnawal, Ngambri, Ngarigo, Yuin, Wiradjuri, Gundungurra, Pejar, Tharawal, Dharug and Eora Nations, which in their very nature are not governed by colonial state boarders. My home base is the land of the Yarr people of the Ngunnawal Nation (Yarr meaning running water), an ancient seabed rich in velvety brown ochre, with Wedgetail Eagle totem (In Ngunnawal language: Mulleun, Malian in Ngambri) and meeting place for the Bogong moth a rich food source for locals.
Always was, Always will be.

I acknowledge the myriad of my ancestors (colonisers, convicts, colonised and persecuted) who travel on my shoulders, and in the same way, I acknowledge your ancestors and appreciate the long and difficult journeys they have taken for us to be here, now, together.
