Design and Drawing
DESIGN
Kiri creates costume and set for live performance, with a focus on sustainability, crafting, rethinking and reusing.
Kiri creates large installation works that can behave as set or objects that interrupt space. She plays with light and projections to create moody, shadow throwing light installations, which can be suspended or hung. These include x-ray films, woven and interlaced textiles and plant fibres.
DRAWING
Kiri is a doodler, and a sketcher, creating mark making, life drawing, fashion drawing and works in mixed media, ink, charcoal, paint, collage and pastels.
